O2 Belfast opens Blueroom lounge for Priority members and guests
The O2 Belfast’s new Blueroom gives Priority members a dedicated entrance and private bar, with access for up to three guests per member.
The O2 Belfast has opened a pre-event lounge for O2 Priority members, adding a dedicated entrance, private bar and space for up to three guests per member. The Blueroom will operate at every arena event and Belfast Giants home game.
Entry is first come, first served. Members need to redeem a code for their event in the Priority app, then show it to staff when they arrive. O2 customers can join Priority at no extra cost.
The lounge opened for the first date of Westlife’s ‘25 Years of Hits’ anniversary world tour. It has seating, its own food and drink menu and a photo booth. Local DJs and musicians will perform at selected events, which will also feature bespoke activations.
Part of the wider O2 deal
The launch adds a visitor benefit to the 10-year naming rights partnership announced in April, which took effect on Wednesday 1 July 2026. That agreement gave the whole Odyssey campus the name The O2 Belfast: the former SSE Arena, W5 Science and Discovery Centre and Odyssey Place entertainment district. The arena holds 11,200 people.
Claire Cosgrave, director of arena and experience at The Odyssey Trust, said the lounge was intended to make the event experience begin on arrival.
Since the naming partnership began in July, O2 has installed mobile network infrastructure intended to improve reliability and capacity, including at sold-out events. The connectivity plans announced under the agreement also included O2 fibre, Wi-Fi and 5G.
The deal made O2 the Belfast Giants’ title sponsor and gave Priority members access to tickets before general sale. SSE Airtricity remained the venue’s official energy partner.
